“IMS Masonry is the most professional masonry company I have worked with during my 40 years of commercial construction.”
I compliment you and your team’s professional daily performance here on the Herriman City Hall project. Their safety first approach each and every day is a complement to our LaPSZ program. Your team’s daily support in planning, coordination and with other contractors and attention to design details/challenges is providing the timely support and proactive leadership that helps our project stay on schedule. “Eight years and 2 million man hours with no lost time is a true safety milestone. Congratulations to IMS Masonry for their commitment to safety excellence! Thank you for your example and leadership to the rest of the construction industry.”
IMS has combined their skill and ability on various occasions with Jacobsen to accomplish some amazing results. We have worked together on many high profile projects across the state of Utah including: Riverton Hospital, BYU Heritage Housing, USU College of Agriculture, Worker’s Compensation Fund Building, Multi Agency Government State Office Building and the Ambulatory Care Hospital.
The design (City Creek Center) was challenging and required contractor expertise in scheduling, coordinating and execution. IMS’s performance in each category was excellent. There were many situations where the design required modifications to accommodate changing or unknown conditions. In these situations, IMS was a team player and assisted in resolution, always keeping the successful outcome of the project as the highest priority.
I have been familiar with IMS Masonry for over 15 years; They have grown to become the largest mason contractor in the state of Utah. They are a leader in setting the standard of safety in their trade.
ABC Utah is proud to support our member company IMS Masonry in their ABC National EIC submittal for the City Creek Center project. Not only did the project win Utah’s 2013 EIC Retail Project of the Year Award, but more importantly it represented a $1.5 billion downtown revitalization project for Salt Lake City.
The relationship The Safety Consortium has had with IMS Masonry has been outstanding. I have found the IMS management team to be leaders in the industry when it comes to safety. IMS has implemented safety procedures and policies in such a manner as to create a very positive safety culture.
With over 35 years of experience, IMS Masonry has completed projects from Hawaii to Vermont and is one of the premier installers of advanced masonry applications in the nation. Change is constant, but our commitment to technology, safety and quality has allowed us to successfully apply our expertise on a diverse range of project types and locations.
We attribute all of our success to the strength and dedication of our team. Looking for more from your career? Apply today and join the winning team.
